Well, as regards the first comment of the correlation - there also strangely happens to be a coinciding correlation between Republicans and fanatical religious spiritualism, obviously in their case Christian. Islam is to them obviously the enemy, the infidel, worthy of being tortured, as they're less than human. This of course puts their fanatacism on par with that of the islamic fundamentalists. The only difference is that the muslim side is a lot more vocal and open about it, whereas the evangelicals preach a religion of so called love and peace, while delighting in torture, at the same time not too expressive of their darker desires as they have been raised, very much like the muslims to regard pleasure as sinful and something to be guilty of. Not surprisingly both sides derive pleasure from fu*$ed up twisted means.

A majority of Christians today may not have the hots for torture of other human beings, but historically the church certainly has had a history of torture. And Christians have a history of blindly following their church leaders, justifying and ignoring their wrongs. Traditional religious Christians also tend to look at non-christians as lesser than, which means torture is more objective in their context, not really a cause for too much concern. The mob mentality also creeps in quite easily, and they can quickly and quite easily silence their consciences to look at church perpetrated torture victims simply as statistics, not as human lives.

It's a shame you feel this to be offensive. This is a free country founded on Christian beliefs. If you are offended just pass by it and ignore it, but remember you may also be ignored in eternity.

As a Liberated Christian I agree that there are "crazy bat shit" extremists within the Southern Baptist denomination, but I have attended some more moderate Southern Baptist churches as well. Within the more moderate SB churches I've mostly met caring people without extreme views. And lets not pretend there aren't a few "crazy bat shit" Atheists and Agnostics out there as well.

I wouldn't judge any church simply by the name on the door, or some radicalized fundamentalists within the denomination. Honestly, I'd recommend some of the more moderate Southern Baptist churches over-and-above many other churches and denominations...but yes, be careful you don't step in that "crazy bat shit" either.

I just wanted to tell you something about the family who is sueing the county. Of course they want that money. Any one of us would like to make a few million off of property we own it doesnt make someone a horrible person. I have mixed feelings about the park but it would have brought good and bad. The woman who owned the property already had plans for the money such as giving some to her family and to different charities, one of which was an orphanage in africa which saves kids from slavery and gives them a home and education. Of course she is mad about not being able to sell her property. It didnt matter whether it was a bible park or a developer. Dont talk bad about someone when you dont know anything about them or their intentions. Ive met her and she is a wonderful caring person that also helped me with money to get to that orphanage in africa to work with the children.

Even if Christians are wrong they still win. There are no consequences if a Christian is wrong when they die.

You Atheists never address the fact that you agree with the Ten Commandments. You don't like liars, thieves and adulterers but you have broken all of God's laws.

Not the Christians you have to worry about when you die.

"Satan your accuser" - Revelation 12:10

Are you going to tell us that evil does not exist? Naive!

Amazing how most Atheist are willing to display everyone else's dirty laundry. Having been married to an Atheist I have come to see most Atheist are just wacko. Sorry but every time I went to one of her functions the people I met were the strangest of the strange. Most of the time all the wanted to do was point out how everyone else is screwed up in their thinking and how they are so enlightened. After a while they usually switched to all the crap that christians do and how we are all two faced and just blind followers. If you want throw stones be sure to throw some at some of your comrades. Another thing I have noticed is that if an atheist is not cause some contraversy they are not happy.
