Christian faith no match for swine flu
Apparently faith in god does not help in keeping christians safe from the swine flu that is going around the nation.
When worshippers clasp hands to “pass the peace” or share the communion cup and offering plates, religious leaders around the country want to be sure they don’t also pass on swine flu.
Catholic churches in many dioceses with confirmed cases of the flu will not offer communion wine, and parishioners have been urged to bow or nod instead of offering a handshake…………
But with warnings that the virus is spreading, houses of worship are cutting back on activities that require close contact.

Clearly these christians that are taking these steps nationwaide really do not believe that their god cares for and will protect or they just have no faith in the power of their puny god. This shows that when it really comes to matters of life and death these christians set aside their foolish faith and take steps they logically know through undisputed evidence can really keep them safe. In this case limiting contact with others to slow and prevent the spread of contagious disease.
Cutting back on church activities instead of joining together and praying for god to stop the swine flu shows what these christians truly know and believe. They might try to deny science and reason but when it comes to their health and possibly life look what they turn to, not their faith in their sky-daddy, but science.
