Scientology is growing in Nashville, a clear sign the number of bat shit crazy people is on the rise here in Tennessee.

The Church of Scientology is expanding in Nashville, opening what the religion calls a “celebrity centre” at the historic Fall School Business Center on 8th Avenue South and Chestnut Street.

Renovations are under way at the 36,000 square-foot building, with an opening expected before summer, said Gaetane Asselin and Wendy Beccaccini, who are overseeing the project. The current location at 1204 16th Ave. S. will close when the new one opens.

With hundreds of members locally, it was time to expand, said Beccaccini, a spokeswoman who has been a member for over two decades. The church has been in Nashville since the 1980s but not that visible, she said.

“We are better established,” Beccaccini said. “We have a few hundred members. We needed a bigger presence.”

Just when you thought there were already were enough delusional people in TN with all the fundamentalist Christians, you learn Scientology is on the rise.  Maybe its because the economy is bad and people are reaching out for anything, maybe the “church” thinks songwriters and musicians are exceptionally gullible with easy cash to be swindled with insane ideas.

Either way this is a bad sign for Nashville and Tennessee.  Scientologists are considered completely irrational on a shit-house rat level.  If there is one thing an atheist can agree with Christians on is the dangerous and occult nature of the Church of Scientology.  Hopefully the Nashville city government does not bend to their will.  For more information on Scientology see the Operation Clambake website, a group dedicated to revealing the truth of this sinister cult.
